What can we do legally when a wedding photography has not held up his portion of the contract? Recently, my neice got married on September 18th and had a photographer takes pictures of her day. She has only received a portion of her pictures and the photographer now avoid her calls and give empty promises. By the way, this photographer has several judgement made in the Philadelphia Judicial Court System (we know of at least three and they were made this year). Other than a judgement, what else can she do? My neice and her husband has paid the full amount owe on the day of the wedding. |

If the contract is in writing, you have the option of filing against him in a small claims court which would be less expensive than suing. The written contract is important in that it proves the components and where there is a breach in the agreement. I would suggest that attempts to reach him be in writing establishing your paper trail. If you call, document the time the call was made. There is not a way to force compliance when one doesn't want to comply other than going to court.
