Call me traditional but I like the photos hands down.

I have yet to hear anyone tell me they pulled out their old wedding video and watched it last night just for fun. I'm sure some people do, I just haven't heard it. The best value for a wedding video in my opinion is for the kids or grandchildren many years from now. That is, if they can still play it on whatever technology they use by then.

Classic wedding photos, on the other hand, can be displayed in your home and enjoyed for years. They can be copied and shared with other family members. They capture the most special moments in more beautiful color and focus that any wedding movie I have seen.

To each his own, but if I had to pick one it would certainly be the photos.

I like wedding photos. I you've ever watched someone else's wedding video it can be a little tedious. Photos are easier to show off and quicker to flip through.

The best option is to have both.

If I were to pick one, I would definitely pick photos. Photos are always easier to show people, to keep, to view. When you make an album, you capture the best ones -- the essence of what happened. You see the feelings and emotion all captured perfectly in time.

Very few people want to watch your videos. A bad thing about videos is that they are time consuming. You can view a photo album in a couple of minutes if you want. Videos take 30 minutes or even hours to watch. A lot of it isn't that interesting, either. You can edit them, but that kind of takes from what happened, too. They are nice to have and sometimes it brings back the sound of someone's voice, the exact words spoken or a certain funny moment.

Both.
When my wife and I got married, we hired the help of a photo-video agency to cover our special day.

IT is not only better but best to take wedding photos or videos for they become your memory and sometimes work as a healer when you are apart. Also your wedding pics sometimes acts as a conflict resolver. So according to me its good if you can afford.
